The ’80s sophisti-pop group was formed in by brothers Paddy and Martin McAloon, releasing their first album Swoon in The Durham natives became a mainstay in UK music, going on to release 13 LPs.

  I bought Jordan: The Comeback for my ex-wife thinking that previous single "King Of Rock 'n' Roll" provided a good guide as to what to expect and knowing that she would enjoy that style of uncomplicated, jangly pop. Not having any other album to compare this to I'm still unsure whether a song about jumping frogs was atypical of Prefab Sprout, but there's certainly nothing as accessible here.
